Build-Funded Projects for Infill Development: 1999-2006

Planning grants are one of the ways that BUILD partners with communities in Dane County to plan and implement infill developments and great neighborhoods. BUILD sponsored infill and great neighborhood planning brings together citizens, local government officials, and community and business leaders to plan for more walkable communities where services, jobs, and shopping are in close proximity to one another. Funding for the BUILD planning grants comes from County general revenue and from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development through Dane County's Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program.
