The Dane County Plat Book
We are currently printing and shipping 2012 platbooks.
The 2012 Plat Book is produced by the Dane County Planning and Development Department.
The book now offers detailed information about county roads, rural land ownership, parks and outdoor
recreation opportunities. Additionally, the book details land ownership, approximate parcel size,
and county and town roads. It also shows the locations of Dane County parks, publicly owned lands,
churches, schools, cemeteries and municipal halls. Other unique features of the book include an ownership
and road name index and aerial photos of jurisdictions.
The plat book was created entirely in-house, helping to reduce production costs for the county while
maintaining the integrity and value of this important resource. The award-winning book costs $28.50
and is available at the Planning and Development Office in Room 116 of the City-County Building, or
