Filed Plat Fees

The Register of Deeds charges a fee for processing and copying filed plats. The types of filed plats accepted are subdivision, cemetary, condominium, and transportation. For more information on receiving copies of filed plats, see our recorded document copies page.

Method of Payment

For filing plats, checks and money orders may be made out to Register of Deeds. For more information call: (608)266-4141.

Subdivision Plats

$50 regardless of the number of pages or lots

Cemetery Plats

$50 regardless of the number of pages or lots

Condominium Plats

$50 regardless of the number of pages or units

Transportation Project Plats

$25 regardless of the number of pages or units

Copies of Filed Plats

Copies of filed documents are reduced to 8.5" X 14" or 11" X 17".

Uncertified Copies
$2 for the first page
$1 for each additional page
Certified Copies
$1 in addition to uncertified costs
