Who is Eligible to Vote?
- Every United States citizen age 18 or older who has resided in a municipality (city, township or village) or ward within the municipality for 10 days before any election is an eligible voter.
- Any United States citizen age 18 or older who moves within this state later than 10 days before an election shall vote at his or her previous election district or ward.
- Any person convicted of treason, felony or bribery is not allowed to vote unless his or her civil rights are restored.
How to Register to Vote?
There are three ways you can register to vote:
- In person before the election day
- In person on the election day
- By mail before the election day
