Parent's Rights
The right to make major decisions concerning the child(ren)'s health, social situation, morals, welfare, education, and economic environment.
The right to reasonable access to and unhampered contact with the child(ren) upon reasonable prior notice.
The right to authorize emergency medical, surgical, hospital, dental, institutional, or psychiatric care for the child(ren).
The right to be notified in case of the child(ren)'s serious illness.
The right to inspect and receive the child(ren)'s medical, mental health and dental records, and to consult with any physician or dentist treating the child(ren).
The right to consult with school officials concerning the child(ren)'s welfare and educational status, and to inspect and receive student records, pursuant to Wis. Stats. Sec.118.125.
The right to receive from the school copies of all school reports, calendars of school events, notices of parent-teacher conferences, and school programs.
The right to authorize enlistment in the Armed Forces.
The right to grant or withhold permission for the child(ren) to marry.
The right to sponsor the child(ren) in obtaining a driver's license.
The right to be the child(ren)'s legal guardian.
The right to determine the child(ren)'s religion and direct (his/her/their) religious education.
