How Do I Use DCiMap?
What is DCiMap?
|
DCiMap is Dane County’s online
geographic information system (GIS). It provides interactive mapping capability to view and query
map and database information.
DCiMap is “GIS lite” – designed for simple geographic
queries and reports; it does not replace the GIS software used
for more rigorous analysis.
Check the web links on DCiMap’s main page to learn more
about GIS data and technology. |

DCiMap can help you answer
questions such as:
* What are the lot dimensions of
the property?
* What subdivision is the property in?
* What is the zoning district? Does the parcel have a conditional
use permit?
* Where and what types of traffic incidents have occurred?
* What does the aerial photograph show about this property?
