Enterprise GIS Migration |
| |
|
The LIO initiated a project to migrate
and implement a number of critical GIS
components to further land records
modernization and the establishment of
an enterprise-wide system. This was
driven by the need to stay current with
changes in technology, better serve the
County's growing demand for and
sophistication in use of GIS, and better
integrate GIS with County business
information systems. Critical technical
components that was migrated include
enterprise GIS data layers, workstation
ArcInfo software licenses, desktop
ArcView software licenses, and priority
GIS data maintenance and end-user
application. Particular GIS data
maintenance applications that was
migrated included for parcel
maintenance, address maintenance, and
farm planning and tract/field
maintenance. |
