The Token Creek Park entrance is located in the Town of Burke on US Highway 51 north of Madison. The 427-acre park is best known for its five shelter facilities and ample open space for large group picnics and outings. Recreational facilities include five volleyball courts, equestrian trails, miles of hiking and skiing trails, and a new 18-hole disc golf course. It also offers winter access to Dane County's 274 miles of snowmobile trails. Special facilities accommodate people with disabilities such as a fishing pier, two playgrounds and elevated boardwalk through a sedge meadow marsh. Token Creek Park also has a dog exercise area, group campground, and 42-unit campground with reservable sites, and 25-sites with electricity.
