Recently we began the process of developing McCarthy Youth & Conservation Park by inviting back the individuals and groups who participated in the master planning process a few years ago. A major element of that plan is to involve youth and community organizations in the development and management of the park. We met in early June to hear ideas about where to begin and how these groups would like to be involved. If you are interested in learning more about plans for this unique park, give me at call at 246-5366. We welcome the input of anyone who is interested in connecting kids and conservation.
