Located on the west shore of Lake Waubesa. Goodland is one of the oldest county parks. The park
consists of partially wooded 15-acres containing 600 feet of shoreline. Facilities include two
shelter houses, picnic areas, volleyball, tennis and basketball courts, a softball field, play
equipment, unsupervised swimming area, and boat launch. The park can be reached from Madison
by US Highway 14 to County Highway MM, then south on Goodland Park Road.

Shelter # 1 measures 30' by 51' and has a capacity of 150 people in the shelter and grounds around it. There are three electrical outlets and 18 picnic tables. Tents are allowed at this shelter but NO amplified music. There is play equipment, a horseshoe pit, volleyball and access to a basketball court, tennis court and an open field. This shelter is nearest the lake. It has an unattended beach and access to the boat launch area.

Shelter # 2 measures 24 feet by 28 feet and has a capacity of 150 people with the shelter and grounds around it. There are two electrical outlets and eight picnic tables. There is play equipment, volleyball, basketball, tennis, and an open field. This shelter is located in an oak stand and is close to the bathroom facilities. Near the lake by shelter one, there is an unattended beach, and a lake access point.
