The Yahara River winds through Viking Park, separating the park from the surrounding countryside. Viking
Park offers a small picnic shelter, a nature trail, dog exercise area, shoreline fishing, and ideal areas
for family outings. This park also has a trail that connects the park to nearby Stoughton. The park
can be reached by driving north on County Highway N from US Highway 51 in Stoughton.

Shelter #1 measures 22' by 34' and has a 100 person capacity with the shelter and grounds around it. It is equipped with a grill and four picnic tables. Music and tents are not allowed. For recreation there are hiking trails, fishing, and biking. No water or electricity are available.
