The Dane County Farmland Preservation Plan makes farmers eligible for state benefits under the Working Lands Initiative, including income tax credits
under WI State Statute Ch. 91.51.
Farmland Preservation Plan
On November 1, 2012, the Dane County Board of Supervisors adopted a comprehensive rewrite of the Dane County Farmland Preservation Plan to meet
new state standards under Chapter 91, Wisconsin Statutes. The Dane County Farmland
Preservation Plan is adopted as part of the Dane County Comprehensive Plan under Chapter 82, Dane County Code.
