At approximately 6:40 pm Dane County Sheriff’s Deputies along with Belleville Fire and EMS responded to a three-vehicle injury crash on Hwy 69 at Hwy A in the Town of Montrose.

Dawn R. Kitsemble, 42 years old from Belleville, was traveling southbound on Hwy 69 approaching Hwy A in a Ford Windstar. Blake Anson, 40 years old from Belleville, was traveling behind Kitsemble in a Honda Accord and struck her from behind as she slowed for two vehicles stopped along the shoulder of the road. Anson spun into the northbound lane of Hwy 69 and was struck in the passenger side of his vehicle by Lyndsey Boul, 17 years old from Belleville, who was northbound on Hwy 69 in a Volkswagen Bug.

Anson was ejected from his vehicle and was transported by Med Flight to UW Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. It does not appear Anson was wearing a seatbelt. None of the other drivers were injured and all of them were wearing seatbelts.

Anson was cited for Inattentive Driving. Alcohol and speed do not appear to be factors in the crash. The crash remains under investigation by the Dane County Sheriff’s Office.
