Highway Permit Applications

Note: The free version of the Adobe Acrobat Reader does not allow saving the completed (on-line) application. You must purchase or have a copy of Adobe Acrobat to save the form and the data.

The forms must be printed on legal size paper to submit to the Highway and Transportation Department except as noted below.

• Permit to Work in County Trunk Highway Right-of-Way

• Permit to Transport Non-Divisible Load Exceeding Statutory Size and/or Weight
  Contact Maintenance Superintendent at 266-4011 or email haag.steve@co.dane.wi.us.
   
• Permits for Special Use of Dane County Trunk Highways (Parades, Bike Rides, etc.)
  (Note: Print on letter size paper)
  Contact Special Event Coordinator at 266-4065 or email prine@co.dane.wi.us.
