2011 Property Tax Bill Information

Bills will be mailed before December 21 by your local municipality (city, town or village).

The first due date is January 31, 2012. Please be sure to pay your local municipal treasurer and double check the proper amount. Mailing instructions are on your tax bill.

Please do not wait till the very last days in case there are any problems that may be fixable. Penalties for being delinquent are severe. Specifically, the entire tax bill becomes immediately due and interest and penalty charges of 1.5% per month apply.

If you have a question about your tax bill, contact your local municipal treasurer. If you need their contact information, a listing of municipal treasurers can be found in the Official Dane County Directory.

Additional property information can be found at AccessDane.

For additional tax questions, contact the County Treasurer at treasurer@countyofdane.com and we will try to assist you.

Thank you,
David Worzala
