Chapters 59, 74, and 75 of the Wisconsin Statutes establish the duties and responsibilities of the County Treasurer, David Worzala. These include receiving all monies belonging to the County, disbursing funds on the order of the County Executive and the County Board, keeping true and accurate account of the receipt and expenditure of funds processed by the Treasurer's office and providing the State Treasurer, Department of Revenue and other agencies with required statements and reports.

  1. Make check out to Dane County Treasurer and mail to:

  2. Pay in person in room 114 in the City County Building located at
    210 Martin Luther King Blvd
    Madison, WI 53703
    Office Hours are 7:45-4:30 Monday thru Friday.
  3. Pay online with a credit card or debit card. Please note that there are additional charges if you pay electronically.

Important: Based on State statutes, the Treasurer’s Office relies on US Postmark to determine if a payment is paid on time. Penalties for being late are severe (10.5%) as we are required to apply 1.5 percent per month interest and penalty back to February 1.
