Event Description

Summer Seed Collection

Sign-Up is Required

Several species of early summer blooming flowers have gone to seed and are ready to be collected! Seeds are collected to plant and enhance lands in other natural areas for pollinators, wildlife, and land restoration. Join us for what will be a unique and rewarding experience. No prior experience is needed. All tools and training will be provided. Children are welcome if chaperoned. Groups (students or other) need to contact Lars directly to register and talk over logistics.

We meet at 9:00 am and may drive or walk to a location within the park - please arrive on time. If you are unable to come or are running late, please email or call one of us to let us know.

As a note - like last year we are holding several seed collection events on the same day at different locations. Please make sure you know which event you will be attending before heading out!

What to Bring: Wear long pants, long sleeve shirt, and closed toed shoes. Bring own drinking water, a hat, work gloves, sunscreen, and be prepared for mosquitoes/bugs.

Covid-19 Guidelines: Please remain at home if you are feeling unwell. Masks will not be required while outdoors.
