Mayor Cieslewicz, County Executive Falk to Celebrate Earth Day At New Link that Joins City and County Bike Trails

WHO: Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk and Mayor Dave Cieslewicz will be joined by members of the Dane County Board, Madison Common Council and bicycle enthusiasts as they gather at the site where a former gap in the city and county bicycle trail systems has recently been completed. The link now allows bicyclists to go under the beltline, from the Capital City Trail to the Lake Monona Lakeshore Path Trail, joining miles of bike trails and significantly expanding a commuter route. WHEN: Tuesday, April 22, 9:00 a.m. WHERE: From the Beltline, take the South Towne Road Exit heading south; Turn right on Industrial Drive, which turns into Nob Hill Road; Park on Nob Hill Road where the Capital City Bicycle Trail crosses the road and goes under the Beltline. There is a Capital City Bicycle Trail sign at the site. # # #
