Falk Will Hold 2004 County Budget Hearing in Middleton

Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk will hold a countywide listening session on the proposed 2004 Dane County budget from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. on Monday, September 8, at the Middleton City Hall, Conference Room B, 7426 Hubbard Avenue. By county ordinance, Falk must deliver her proposed 2004 Dane County budget to the County Board by October 1. “The state budget crisis handed us an $8.6 million challenge, but I will make the hard decisions to fund what matters most,” said Falk. “This budget is not just about numbers. It is about people—working families, senior citizens, our children. I look forward to hearing from our citizens what is most important to them, and listening to their ideas on how county government can be made even more efficient.” # # #
