Town Of Dunn One-Vehicle Injury Crash

Madison, WI, November 25, 2007 - At approximately 3:22 am Dane County Sheriff Deputies, along with McFarland Fire and Oregon EMS responded to a one vehicle roll-over crash with injuries on Mahoney Rd. approximately .3 mile of County Highway B, in the Town of Dunn. A 2004 Chevrolet 4-DR Sedan driven by a 21 year old female from Mt. Horeb, was northbound on Mahoney Rd. when she lost control on a curve and rolled the vehicle once into and adjacent field. Her 23 year old male passenger, from Waunakee, received serious injuries as a result of the crash. Neither were wearing seatbelts. Both were transported to the U.W. Hospital. The operator of the vehicle is being charged with Felony Causing Injury By Operating A Motor Vehicle While Under The Influence Of Intoxicants. She received minor injuries as a result of the crash. This crash remains under investigation. UPDATE: The driver of the vehicle has been identified as 21 year old Megan Erickson from Mount Horeb. The passanger has been identified as 23 year old Aaron Maurer from Waunakee.
