Jail Inmate Declared AWOL - Update

Madison, WI. July 17, 2008 – Inmate David Hanaway, age 25 of Madison, has been declared AWOL from the Dane County Jail. Hanaway, a Huber inmate, left the Public Safety Building at 8:00 this morning to attend an appointment at the Department of Motor Vehicles. He failed to return to the Public Safety Building at 10:20 am as scheduled. Hanaway is currently serving a sentence for two counts of Disorderly Conduct, Resisting/Obstructing, Failure to Report to Jail, and Operating After Revocation. His scheduled release date is January of 2009. Anyone with information on Mr. Hanaway’s whereabouts is asked to call 911. ***UPDATE*** On Thursday, July 17, 2008 at 8:55 p.m. Inmate David Hanaway turned himself in at the Dane Jail-Public Safety Building.
