Attached is Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk’s statement to the State Senate in opposition to AJR 67/SJR 53. In it, Falk refers to a new opinion from the Dane County Corporation Counsel Office. That memorandum concludes that the proposed amendment poses a serious threat to domestic partner benefits based on litigation currently underway in Michigan following that state’s adoption of a similar amendment.
