Dane County Executive Falk to Hold Budget Hearing

Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk will hold a countywide listening session on the proposed 2007 Dane County budget from 5 – 6 p.m. on Monday, September 18, at the Monona Community Center, Lounge Room, 1011 Nichols Road. County ordinance requires Falk to deliver her proposed 2007 budget to the County Board by October 1. “A growing population with many important needs, rising expenses and limited revenue make for a difficult budget,” Falk said. “I look forward to hearing from citizens about what is most important to them, and how county government can become even more efficient while meeting the real needs in the county.” ###
