Dane County Executive Falk Releases Action Plan for Town of Cross Plains Intersection

Flashing stop signs, street lighting and a lower speed limit are part of a 7-part action plan released today by Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk who said the interim measures are aimed at improving a town of Cross Plains intersection. Earlier this week, Falk participated in a Town of Cross Plains public forum regarding recent fatal accidents at the intersections of County Trunk Highways J and S/P. In a letter to Town of Cross Plains Chairman Krantz, Falk said the interim measures would be put in play with more improvements being planned in the 2007 reconstruction of the highway. (The letter follows this release.) Installation of the measures detailed in the action plan began Friday, August 4, and all will be in place within several weeks. # # #
