***ADVISORY*** The deadline for nominations has been extended until the end of the day January 7th, 2008. Nominations are being accepted for the 2008 Dane County Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Recognition Award, Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk announced today. The award will be presented at the 23rd Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. City- County Observance on the evening of Monday, January 21, 2008, according to Isadore Knox, Jr., Director Dane County Office of Equal Opportunity. (Specific time and location forthcoming.) Since 1991, the Dane County Executive has presented the award to outstanding individuals for their efforts as leaders in Dane County and for exemplifying the true legacy of Dr. King.
