Starting Monday, November 3, 2008, at 7:45 a.m., Dane County Parks will have two online programs to better serve our customers: 2009 Campground and Shelter reservations, and Park Recreational Use Permits. New for 2009, Park Recreational Use permits are available online at www.reservedane.com. Permits available are: * Lake Access * Dog * Trail (bike, horse, ski) * Disc Golf * Tenney Lock “Offering these services online makes it easier for people to enjoy our beautiful parks,” County Executive Kathleen Falk said. “This new convenience means citizens can get park permits anytime, anywhere with just a few clicks of a computer mouse.” Patrons are encouraged to make their 2009 campground and shelter reservations online at www.reservedane.com. It’s convenient, user-friendly and can be accessed at any time day or night. With the online reservation system, patrons can browse the county park facilities to determine which campsite or shelter best meets their needs. Using a major credit card, patrons can reserve a campsite or shelter 24/7 from wherever they have on-line computer access, then immediately receive an e-mail confirmation for services. For patrons who wish to talk directly to park staff or have questions regarding a reservation, they can continue to make reservations either by calling the County Parks office at (608) 246-3896 or stopping by the office located on Madison’s eastside at 1 Fen Oak Court, Room 208, Madison, WI 53718. Dane County Parks accepts reservation for facilities throughout the county, including 30 shelters, approximately 150 campsites (50% reserveable / 50% first-come first-serve) in five family campgrounds and several group camp areas. Campsite reservations must be made at least 14 days in advance with a minimum of 2 nights stay.
