Madison, WI. October 16, 2008 – The Dane County Sheriff's Office, Madison Police Department, and other police agencies will be holding their annual Property Auction on Saturday, October 18, 2008. The Auction will be held in the Exhibition Hall at the Alliant Energy Center, located at the intersection of John Nolan Drive and Rimrock Road near USH 12 & 18, Madison. The doors will be open for viewing at 8:00 a.m. with bidding commencing at 9:00 a.m. The cost is $ 2.00 per person, children under 2 are free. There is no cost for parking. Items to be auctioned include over 300 bicycles, jewelry and watches, home electronics, clothing, car stereos, office equipment, and much more. No firearms will be auctioned. Terms are cash, cashiers check, traveler’s check, personal check, and certified funds, Mastercard and Visa. Positive picture ID is required. Sold items must be removed by the close of the auction.
