Starting Monday, November 2, 2009, at 7:45 a.m., Dane County Parks will begin accepting 2010 camping and shelter reservations on-line at www.reservedane.com.

The Parks online reservation system, now starting it’s third year, has proven to be an easy and efficient way to make campground and shelter reservation, saving valuable time and resources for our park patrons. Reserving online provides options versus having to call or drive to the park office to check facility availability.

With the online reservation system, patrons can browse the county park facilities to determine which campsite or shelter best meets their needs. Using a major credit card, patrons can reserve a campsite or shelter from wherever they have on-line computer access, then immediately receive an e-mail confirmation for services.

Dane County Parks are the perfect place to hold family reunions, weddings and/or receptions, summer get-togethers with friends, or any other special event.

Dane County Parks accepts reservation for facilities throughout the county including 30 shelters, ~150 campsites (50% reserve-able / 50% first-come, first-serve) in five family campgrounds and several group camp areas. For additional information on Dane County Parks, please visit our website at www.countyofdane.com/lwrd/parks/.

For rental information on the Lussier Family Heritage Center, a beautiful indoor facility located at scenic Lake Farm County Park, please call 608-224-3604, or visit: www.countyofdane.com/lwrd/parks/heritage

Patrons who have questions or wish to talk directly to park staff can do so by either calling the Parks office at 608-224-3730, or stopping by 1 Fen Oak Court, Room 208, Madison, WI 53718.
