Madison, WI –Frontier Airlines announced today that non-stop service from Madison to Washington D.C. (DCA) will be added to their schedule beginning January 5th, 2012 with service on a 138-seat Airbus A319 aircraft.  Departures from Madison to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) will be on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sundays at 7:05 p.m.  Return flights to Madison will be on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays at 6:40 a.m.

Dane County Executive Joe Parisi said, “Adding another low-cost option for travelers will make it easier to get from Dane County to Washington D.C. and points along the East Coast.  Airlines adding flights at our airport is great economic development indicator, and a testament to the quality of services our airport provides.”

Frontier’s Airbus aircraft features comfortable leather seats with 24 channels of DIRECTV® service in every seatback.  The Airbus also includes four rows of the carrier’s popular STRETCH seating, with up to five extra inches of legroom.

“We are extremely pleased that Frontier has decided to add a new flight option for our customers traveling east from Madison,” said Airport Director Bradley Livingston, AAE.  “We are extremely proud to have Frontier among the airlines adding service to our Wisconsin residents.”
