Dane County Jail Inmate Declared AWOL

Madison, WI – May 23, 2009 On Saturday, May 23, 2009, Benito A. Sostre, an inmate in the Dane County Jail, failed to return to the Ferris Center after being released for an eye doctor’s appointment. Sostre is described as a 34-year old white male, approximately 5’05” tall and weighing approximately 165 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. Records indicate Sostre has a last known address in the city of Fitchburg. At the time Sostre went AWOL, he was serving two sentences, with work release, for Disorderly Conduct and Failure to Report to Jail. Anyone with information on Sostre’s whereabouts is asked to call 911.
