Frontier Expands Non-stop Service From Madison To Washington D.C.
Enjoy More Capitol With Less Capital SEVEN Days A Week

Madison, WI – The Dane County Regional Airport announced today that Frontier will expand non-stop flights to Washington, D.C. (DCA) from Madison, WI (MSN) to daily service.

The daily D.C. service begins June 7, 2012 and is just one of the more than 90 arrivals and departures per day at the Dane County Regional Airport

"This is a major benefit to our Dane County economy," said Dane County Executive Joe Parisi. “Continued growth at the Dane County Regional Airport is a strong indicator of the health and vitality of our local economy.”

The route will be flown on a 99-seat Embraer E-190 jet aircraft. Customers on board will enjoy comfortable leather seating in a two-by-two configuration with no middle seats. In addition, the E-190 has several rows of STRETCH seating, which provides an additional five inches of comfortable legroom. Frontier’s E-190 fleet is also outfitted with in-flight internet access.

“Washington, D.C. is an important route, providing direct access for businesses and constituents, from Wisconsin’s state capital to our nation’s capital,” said Airport Director Bradley Livingston, AAE.  “I hope the community will continue to support this important non-stop service.”

The new service is the second Madison route expansion in recent weeks. Beginning May 27, 2012, Frontier will increase its existing nonstop service between Madison and Orlando (MCO) from seasonal to year-round and upgrade the aircraft used on the route to a 138-seat Airbus 319.

“Frontier already offers low fares on the only nonstop service between Madison and the D.C. area via convenient Washington Reagan Airport,” said David Siegel, president and chief executive officer of Frontier. “Our new daily service and improved schedule will make it even easier for value-conscious leisure and business travelers to visit our nation’s capital.”
