Selective Tree Removals along Capital City Trail Begin This Month

 

MADISON, WI – Dane County will be conducting selective tree removals along the Capital City Trail, between Fish Hatchery Road and Seminole Highway this month. These removals are needed to clear dead, dying and diseased trees from the trail corridor and to provide clearance for paving equipment during the pavement restoration of this section later this year. Tree work is anticipated to be completed by March 15, 2019.

 

Cyclists and pedestrians should use caution and may be required to use alternate routes of travel during the tree work. Alternative routes, online mapping tools, and additional information are available at:
