Park will include accessible features for people with disabilities.
NOTE: Color posters and copies of the plans for the park will be on display and available.
WHO: Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk, members of the Dane County Parks Commission, retiring Parks Director Ken LePine, and the key private donors to the Jenni and Kyle Preserve will gather for a groundbreaking ceremony.
The vision for this park began with a gift of $100,000 by Patricia and Harvey Wilmeth as a memorial to their grandchildren who both died by the age of 4 of a degenerative neurological disease.
The project will include accessible parking lots and paths, accessible fishing areas around the ponds, accessible wildlife viewing areas and construction of an open shelter with restrooms.
