Nominations are being accepted for the 2007 Dane County Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Recognition Award, Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk announced today. The award will be presented at the 22nd Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. City-County Observance on the evening of Monday, January 15, 2007, Isadore Knox, Jr., Director of the Dane County Office of Equal Opportunity said. (Specific time and location to be announced.) Since 1991, the Dane County Executive has presented the award to outstanding individuals for their efforts as leaders in Dane County and for exemplifying the true legacy of Dr. King. Nomination forms are available in the Dane County Executive’s Office in Madison at 210 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Room 421, and on the Dane County Web site: www.co.dane.wi.us.
