SINGLE VEHICLE CRASH IN THE TOWN OF BRISTOL - Updated

Madison, WI. September 20, 2008. On Saturday, September 20, 2008 at approximately 8:23 p.m., deputies from the Dane County Sheriff’s Office, along with Sun Prairie and DeForest Fire and EMS, responded to a single vehicle crash on Damm Road in the Town of Bristol. The driver and his three passengers turned east onto Damm Road from CTH N. Damm Road is a private road with a residence at the end. The driver accelerated his vehicle to a high rate of speed and failed to negotiate a curve at the end of the road. The vehicle went airborne and crashed into a large boulder in the yard of the residence. The driver and occupants were not wearing seatbelts and sustained minor and serious injuries. Names are not being released at this time pending notification of family. Speed is a factor, however, alcohol does not appear to be at this time. The crash remains under investigation by the Dane County Sheriff’s Office. UPDATE Monday, September 22, 2008 - The Dane County Sheriff's Office is releasing the names of the individuals involved in the single-vehicle crash in the town of Bristol. The driver of the 1999 Honda Civic was Ryan P. Fleck, age 21 of Sun Prairie. His passengers were Bradley W. Pearson, age 20, Shawn D. Worzalla, age 17, and Shane M. Draper, age 17, all of Sun Prairie. The crash remains under investigation by the Dane County Sheriff's Office.
