Madison, WI. February 17, 2010 – The Dane County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a child enticement case that occurred on Thursday, February 11th, in the town of Pleasant Springs.

At approximately 7:15 am, an eight-year-old female was walking from her home to her school bus stop on Williams Drive near Yahara Street, when a male in a silver newer model 4-door crossover/SUV approached her. The man parked alongside the road, rolled down his window, and asked the girl if she wanted a ride to school. When she replied no, he continued in attempting to coax her into the vehicle for a ride. As the girl walked away and waited for the school bus in a nearby yard, the man remained in his vehicle.

He is described as being 30 to 40 years of age, with a medium build, dark eyes, and medium colored skin.
